Centroid tracking based vibration compensation for a zoom lens imaging systems | |

Infrared or normal tracking cameras for advanced aircrafts and autonomous vehicles need to continuously adjust its magnification using lens driving function to define target objects and keep track of them. However, it is suffered from mechanical motion characteristics of magnification lens, to drive spiral motion on the image along a moving direction. To solve this problem, centroid tracking image and LUT based compensation algorithm is proposed. [1] B.H. Kim, and M.Y.
